Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be a graduating senior during the 2025–2026 school year.
- Reside within the attendance boundaries of Brandeis High School, Harlan High School, O’Connor High School, Sotomayor High School, or Taft High School.
- This includes students attending magnet schools, private schools, Christian schools, or who are homeschooled, provided they live within one of the listed school boundaries.
Required Application Documentation
Scholarship applicants must submit all four (4) of the following items:
- Official sealed high school transcript, reflecting grades through the most recent grading period.
- One (1) letter of recommendation from a school official (teacher, counselor, administrator, etc.).
- Two (2) letters of recommendation from non-relatives.
- Personal narrative (self-description) including:
- Hobbies
- Employment history
- Community service involvement
- Scholastic and organizational activities and awards
- Major educational interests
- The narrative must also include the applicant’s:
- Full name
- Mailing address
- Phone number
- Email address
Additional Information
- There are no restrictions on the intended undergraduate course of study.
- Applicants must select an accredited college or university.
- The scholarship will be awarded upon proof of enrollment and paid directly to the institution of choice.
