Three nights of excitement kick off its 38th Anniversary Rodeo Thursday, May 1st Friday, May 2nd and Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, with the Helotes Festival Association’s Award Winning PRCA Rodeo, held in conjunction with the HELOTES FESTIVAL’S 60th CORNYVAL which runs through Sunday, May 4th.

Andrews Rodeo Company will produce this year’s Rodeo which will consist of bull riding, tie-down roping, saddle bronc riding, breakaway roping, bareback bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, and women’s barrel racing.

A $3,700 added money.  A $25.00 gas certificate for each event winner each night courtesy of HEB. A Champion Buckle will be awarded to the winner of each event.

In addition, the Helotes Festival Association’s PRCA Rodeo is proud to have national sponsors Bud Light, Dodge Ram, Wrangler, and Pendleton Whisky, as well as Helotes area sponsors to support our local events.

Pre-rodeo activities begin at 7:00 each night with Mutton Bustin followed by the 8 event PRCA Rodeo kicking off at 7:30 p.m. nightly.

Our Rodeo Clown and specialty act will be provided by Cody Sosebee.

The Rodeo is followed by a dance each night on the Cornyval grounds.  

Wednesday – Rodeo Slack starts at TBD.

Thursday, the Helotes Rodeo and Wrangler have teamed up to help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Wear purple shirts to show your support.

Friday is Bud Night.  

Saturday Helotes Rodeo supports the Military. Wear your Red, White and Blue.
