Get ready, Helotes! This year marks a truly special milestone—the 61th anniversary of the beloved Helotes Cornyval, a celebration of community, heritage, and good ol’ Texas fun. From April 30th-May 3rd, 2026, the Helotes Festival Grounds will come alive with music, food, carnival rides, and events for all ages.
A Tradition 60 Years in the Making
The Helotes Cornyval first began in 1965 as a way to honor the agricultural roots of Helotes and celebrate the local corn harvest. Over the past six decades, it has grown into a premier event in South Texas, drawing visitors from near and far. This year’s Cornyval promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a lineup of events and attractions worthy of this major milestone..
What to Expect
1. Live Music
The 60th Cornyval will feature a spectacular lineup of live music, showcasing local talent and popular headliners. Whether you’re into country, rock, or Tejano, there will be a performance for everyone to enjoy.
2. Carnival Fun
Thrill-seekers, rejoice! The Cornyval carnival will offer rides and games for kids and adults alike. From Ferris wheels to bumper cars, this year’s attractions promise to deliver all the excitement and nostalgia you’ve come to love.
3. Delicious Food
No Cornyval is complete without mouthwatering food. Indulge in classic fair treats like turkey legs, roasted corn, and funnel cakes, or try something new from one of the many local food vendors.
4. Helotes Rodeo

Gates Open At:
- Thursday: 5:00 PM | SPAZMATICS at 10:00 PM
- Friday: 5:00 PM | TBA at 10:30 PM
- Saturday: 11:00 AM | TBA at 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM | TBA at 6:30 PM
Tickets do not guarantee a seat. Seating is first-come, first-served. An overflow screen will be available if the stands become full.
VIP Tables – $250.00
- Available for the entire day for all entertainment at Cornyval.
- Location: Main pavilion (not the rodeo arena).
- Entertainment at the stage starts at 5 PM on Thursday & Friday and 11 AM on Saturday & 12 PM on Sunday.
