The first few years the production was staged at Floore’s Country Store. It moved to Helotes Elementary School then to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. As it grew and as scholarships were added to the winner’s packages, larger areas were needed to stage the event. The pageant moved to John Marshall High School, Taft High School, the University of Texas at San Antonio, and finally to its present home at O’Connor High School.
